Find a box

Search by room, box code, note, alias, or handling marker. To scan a printed QR label, open the project, choose Find, and allow camera access. Enter the six-character label code if scanning is unavailable.

Photos, voice notes, and space maps

Take a box photo or choose one with Apple’s photo picker. Dictation is optional, uses Apple’s system speech recognition, and adds only the text you accept; Moving Box Index does not retain the audio. On supported LiDAR iPhones, RoomPlan can create an optional local space map. A restored map is historical and should be confirmed before use.

Backup, restore, and export

Use Backup & Transfer to export a complete .mbibackup package through Files or the share sheet. Keep the file in a destination you control. Restore validates the package and creates a separate local project without replacing existing projects. PDFs support US Letter, A4, Avery 5160, Avery 5163, and 4×6 layouts. CSV does not include photo files.

Purchase and restore

Free supports one move, up to 30 boxes, US Letter QR labels, search, scanning, backup, restore, and export. Lifetime Access is a one-time, non-consumable purchase that unlocks unlimited moves and boxes, exterior box photos, and A4, Avery, and 4×6 label formats. Use Restore Purchases from the Lifetime Access screen with the same Apple Account. Billing, refunds, and payment methods are handled by Apple.
