Privacy Policy

Client Memory: Beauty Book keeps client records on the beauty professional’s iPhone. Dylan Liu does not operate an account system or a server that receives client contacts, service facts, sensitivities, or photos.

Information handled

The app may handle client names, contacts, preferences, tags, sensitivities or contraindication facts, service history, products, formulas, colors, service parameters, income amounts, photos, consent status, next-service plans, and service check-ins that the user chooses to enter.

Local storage and backups

Records remain in protected local storage. CSV and complete backups are exported through the iOS share sheet to a destination chosen by the user. A complete backup may contain contacts, notes, sensitivities, and photos. Restoring a validated backup replaces the current local client book only after confirmation.

Photos, App Lock, and purchases

Apple’s photo picker selects photos. Stored copies are re-encoded without source metadata; service-record and marketing consent are separate facts. Local notifications contain no client names or sensitive facts. App Lock uses Face ID or device passcode through Apple authentication; the app receives no biometric data. Pro subscriptions are processed by Apple, and we do not store payment cards.

Tracking, deletion, and contact

The app has no advertising, third-party analytics, cross-app tracking, or developer-operated client-data server. Users can archive, restore, export, and delete local records. Deleting the app removes local data unless exported elsewhere. The app is for independent beauty professionals and not directed to children under 13. Questions: [email protected].
