Duck Party Game Privacy
Effective September 14, 2026 · Name updated September 19, 2026
Duck Party Game does not require an account. ThothForge does not operate a game server or receive gameplay data from the app.
Local information
Your chosen player name, built-in avatar, language and sound preferences are stored on your device. Recent game statistics, player names and scores are stored locally for one calendar month; older records are removed when the app is opened or used. Removing the app removes its local data, subject to any device backups managed by you or Apple.
Nearby play
Room names are advertised to nearby devices for discovery, including devices that have not joined the room. When you create or join a nearby room, player names, built-in avatar choices, connection status and game state are exchanged with participating devices using Apple's Multipeer Connectivity framework. The host coordinates the game. Other participants see public information; each device receives its own private hand and mission. Local Network permission is used to discover and connect nearby devices. This information is not sent to a ThothForge server. Participants may retain their local game statistics.
Tracking and permissions
The app includes no advertising, third-party analytics or cross-app tracking SDK. Duck sounds are bundled audio; the app does not record your microphone. Built-in avatars do not require camera or photo access.
Support and Apple services
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to respond. Do not include private room codes or unnecessary personal data. Apple processes App Store transactions under its own privacy policy; ThothForge does not receive payment-card details. Website hosting is separate from in-app gameplay and may process request information to deliver these pages.
